Kala Cotton
Kala cotton is a heritage variety of cotton grown organically in the Kutch region of India. It is known for its resilience and sustainability. Tencel, or lyocell, is made from wood pulp sourced primarily from eucalyptus, beech, and spruce trees cultivated under strict sustainability guidelines. The trees used for Tencel are typically grown in certified, sustainably managed forests, with certifications from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) ensuring that these forests are responsibly managed.
